Cynthia E. Hodge, D.M.D.,
M.P.H., M.P.A.
Dr. Cynthia Hodge, is the
Associate Dean for the Office of Community and Outreach
Programs (OCOP), School of
Dental Medicine. Her duties include directing the community-based
dental education program, recruitment of under-represented students in
dentistry, establishing community-campus partnerships, research related
to community health and health care and mentoring.
She received her D.M.D. degree from Oregon
Health Sciences University; an M.P.H. degree from the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and has a M.P.A. degree, a certificate in
Minority Health Policy and a certificate in Dental Public Health from
Harvard University.
She joined the UConn faculty in 2003.
Robin Washington
Robin Washington is the
Executive Assistant for Community and Outreach Programs (OCOP), School
of Dental Medicine. Ms. Washington is the Rotations Coordinator for our
forth year dental students at our five participating Community
Health Centers and two private dental offices. Ms. Washington assists in
the recruitment of under-represented students into dentistry.
She attended Southern Connecticut State
University, with a major in Social Work. She has held two elective
offices; Community Development Vice President and Management Development
Vice President for the Southington Junior Chamber of Commerce.
She began her employment at the UConn Health
Center in 1996. |
